So we've already discussed my disgust with the fan base, well all except one part but that will be discussed in just a moment. First I want to point out something I noticed with all the Call of Duty games after World at War. It started to feel like I was just playing the same game over and over again with just a different title slapped onto it. Low and behold I basically was doing just that. Activision, Infinity Ward, and Treyarch are using the same game engine and system from World at War just with better graphics and different skins and just other little tweaks. Instead of a patch they just release another game the next year for 60 bucks of your hard earned money and people will by it anyway just because it's Call of Duty the best game selling game series made. I call shenanigans on that by the way. The thing is, the developers are just doing some lazy developing from past games making little to no change and making a huge profit out of it. These fan boys and many other fans claim it is the best game ever and why hasn't it won any huge awards or anything. It's still the same game from over 7 years ago. I will admit it was a really good game for it's time, but it just does not meet the standards that other games have put out there like Battlefield or many other first person shooters. It's just more of the same an for me it's insanely boring to play hour on end and unfair with all the hackers, moders, and nothing even close to bullet physics gameplay. You would think after all this time they would add some kind of bullet physics to the system but no you shoot and the bullet is immediately at the target you were aiming for....woo...
So those are a lot of my feelings toward the Call of Duty franchise and why I don't really support the series anymore. I am just disgusted with how the franchise is treated now. It's like woo another Call of Duty this year. Did they finally add anything awesome...Look the fish move and have AI now...we had that in Super Mario 64 people! An N64 game! That's real innovation there. Not. So thank you for taking the time to listen to my rant and sticking around. Leave your thoughts on Call of Duty or any games you think do something similar below, I want to hear some of the other sides of this argument and I will respect your decision or views accordingly. Catch you guys later!
Got it memorized?
