Gaming Nerd- Terry
Hey there guys and girls! This is Terry, but you can call me Terry! I've been into gaming since the days of the NES to the current generation consoles. The earliest games I can remember playing were Mario and Duck Hunt. I used to spend most of my time in arcades when they were still around, and spent a lot of money and time invested. I've played quite a few games on the original Nintendo Entertainment System, but things really kicked off for me with the introduction of the Play Station. After that time...my videogame time rose to space with the old classic, the Play Station 2. By the end of my time with it I had over 50 games, and had beaten all of them. One of my favorite games of all time was on that system. That game, was Kingdom Hearts. I played that game, and played it and played it, skipping several meals just to see what would happen next. This was proven even more with Kingdom Hearts 2, solidifying indefinitely my love for gaming. At that time I was also able to get my hands on a classic Xbox and GameCube, but kind of got it later in its release so did not have a ton of games for them, but I loved the original Fable on that system and several other titles. I now have a Nintendo Wii, but do not like the motion controls as much as a good old controller being in my hand. That leads me to my most current and played system, the Xbox 360. I currently own over 100 Xbox games and I have beaten (to me beaten means I have completed the story around it, not all of the achievements though) most of them, upwards of 80 of those games. I also now own PS3, mainly for the exclusives on it. I have played all types of games but tend to enjoy action adventure titles, but I love a good FPS or third person shooter from time to time. I have played some in skating games and several racing. I've had experience with every type of game, but tend to stay away from horrors. I enjoy the beauty of the game and seem them as true artwork. I can be critical of these games, but only because I want to see them improve, and I love developers that take their time to make a game extraordinary, rather than rush a game to cash out on a title without making any significant changes. If I don't know something about a game, I usually try to get my research right before making a definitive judgment. I'm always excited to see what will happen next with gaming, it's my passion to see this art grow and get other people into it like it got me. I cannot even guess how many hours I have spent in front of that TV with that beloved controller in my hand. I've watched a good number of cartoons in my days, I've started collecting Deadpool comics and a little bit of Spiderman here and there. I have also seen all Star Wars movies and played many of their games, even read a book or two. In my down time when I'm not playing games, I'm watching Let's Plays of games, Achievement Hunter, and many reviews and info on games in development. Got it memorized?
